A Note About Metaphysical Literacy

When my Higher Guidance recently asked me to begin talking about my work in terms of metaphysical literacy, it immediately made sense to me. Of course! Literacy is the bedrock of innovation.

And metaphysical literacy is the foundation of the next evolution of the human species, to a much more spiritually advanced civilization, based in greater unity consciousness and multidimensional awareness.

Those of us educated in the West during the last half a century have been encouraged to develop our intellectual (and sometimes physical) prowess. I took great pride in my 4.0 grade point average, my advanced degrees, and the fact that I was a four-season athlete. That is, until the day when these accomplishments felt more hollow than real, when I began feeling an intense knowing that something very profound was missing from my life.

I had checked all of the boxes I was led to believe would fulfill me. Why, then, was I feeling so empty? In 2009 the answers began to arrive. But they took a most unexpected form, in paranormal experiences I had been conditioned to believe weren't real and, at best, just figments of my imagination.

Oh, boy.

I had to run the gauntlet of all sorts of confronting metaphysical experiences I couldn't brush off as "coincidental". Experiences that made me question my sanity and yet, somehow, also resonated with a deeper knowing based not in my cognitive mind, but in my Higher Mind. My awakening had begun. It was painful, thrilling, intense, and JOY-filled all at the same time.

Looking back, my journey could have been much smoother, if only I had a context for multidimensional reality. This is what motivates to bring my teaching and work to more people each year.

You can regain a greater awareness with assistance from those who have gone before you. You can learn how to move past contracted, limited states of identity and belief systems at an accelerated pace. You don't have to do it alone. You don't have to concede more years of your life to a disconnected experience of reality.
